My Everyday Look!

PREP:

One of the main reasons why I chose Aveda is because of the natural products and the good it can do for your skin. The main way to keep a fresh clean face is the three simple steps: Cleanse, Tone, and Moisturize. I use the Aveda line called 'Green Science', it is for more normal to dry skin. I'm very fortunate to have a more clear complexion and get acne only here and there. If you look up all the Aveda lines for cleaning your face you will be able to match up to your skin type to find the right line for you! The Aveda lines can get pretty expensive so if you are looking for a more cheap line, I use to you use the line called, "Simple" you can find the whole line at your local Walgreens! Make sure you get all three steps! I also recommend their makeup wipes, I still use them! Before you wash your face make sure you wash your hands to get germs and bacteria off from transfering to your face! First is cleanser, you can use your hands to clean but I would recommend using a antibacterial face brush to wash your face because it helps with avoiding germs and bacteria! Make sure to use lukewarm water, not too cold and not too hot. After you're done cleasing pat your face dry with a clean towel, making sure you don't use the towel for anything else but your face. Next is your toner, use a cotton pad and apply toner to the pad. Wipe the pad all over your face, make sure to get in the corners of your nose and more harder areas that you might have missed. Toner helps to get out any extra dirt and makeup, so if you see any on the pad that's good! You can do a second round of makeup remover or toner if you feel there was way more makeup left over than you thought! (What I usually do) Your third step is moisturizer. You need a good light moisturizer that won't clog your pores or make your face look greasy. If you choose the Aveda or Simple line, there shouldn't be a problem! I also use my face brush to apply my moisturizer to because I like to avoid using my hands as much as possible.

MAKEUP:

Before I apply any makeup I use the MAC prep+prime (fix+). This is a more new product I just started using and I can't get over the wonders it does! I sprits a few times around my whole face for my primer. Then I prep my lips before anything! I use my lip scrub from LUSH and then apply a dab of concealer to give a very good skin tone prep. Then I apply my favorite lip relief from Kiehl's in Eucalyptus. This is the best lip balm I have ever used in my life. For foundation I have always used Bare Minerals, I have never used any other foundation before! I love Bare Minerals because it's more of a natural and light product that buffs really well into the skin and doesn't clog up my pores. I use my all over liquid foundation from Bare Minerals BARESKIN in the shade Bare Latte 11. This shade is one shade darker than my skin tone but for some reason it blends very well. Pour a few drops on your fingers and apply to your cheeks, forehead, chin, and neck. To blend I use the Sigma Flat Kabuki F80 brush, it is their best sold foundation brush and I'm obessed with it. Sometimes I use my beauty blender which you can pretty much buy one any where! Next is concealer, I also use from Bare Minerals Bareskin complete coverage serum concealer in the shade medium. You want your concealer to be at least one to two shades lighter than your skin tone. I apply concealer to my eyelids, under eyes, and any blemishs I may have. To blend I apply a few squirts of my fix+ or wet it down with water and dab in the product. After to set my face I use the Bare Minerals powder in Medium Tan. Now this color gives a more bronzed look, but I have been using it since I started using makeup and it blends very well for my skin. I would for sure go with a powder that matches well with your skin tone. To apply I use my Sigma Large Powder F20 brush. Because I am a very natural with makeup I hardly ever use translucent powders or contur and highlight my face. But lately I have been starting to get more into that subject of makeup! After powder I move onto my brows. When it comes to brows usually they aren't very natural for me because I love drawing my brows in. I first start with the Anastasia Beverly Hills tinted brow gel in the shade Espresso. If I am in more of a hurry I only apply the tinted brow gel and I comb my brows into plance and head out! If I have more time I comb my brows into place and grab the Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade in Chocolate. With my Anastasia brow brush I take product and start at the arch of my eyebrow and follow that line down, then repeat at the bottom. With left over product I brush and connect the lines and lightly fill them in to blend. It's all about just following your natural brow! Next, I move straight to lashes because I never wear eyeshadow or eyeliner. If you are into those I do suggest the Morphe 350 pallet and whatever your favorite eyeliner is! I am still struggling to find a good eyeliner so if you have any suggestions feel free to let me know! For lashes I curl them using the eyelash curler from Tarte. The mascara I use is the They're Real mascara from Benefit Cosmetics or Better than Sex Mascara by Too Faced. Both of these mascaras are amazing and they really make your lashes bigger and more full! What I have found out though is that the Better than Sex mascara is a little more clumpy than the They're Real Mascara. After I apply mascara I wait a little bit for the mascara to dry then I recurl them again to give more lift! After, like I said I have gotten more into the highlighting subject. I just recieved the Anastasia Glow Kits and I am in love with them! I usually just use my finger and apply any of the colors I feel with best fit with my skin that day and rub it on my cupids bow, and on my cheek bones. Then I blend with my Sigma F40 Fan Brush. Then I move to my lips, I usally use my Kylie Lipkit in the shade Koko K and let it dry for the matte finish. If you don't have the Kylie lipkit I also use the MAC lip color in the shade Faux, it's a gorgeous light pink skin tone with a slight shimmer! Then I set my face by then again applying more fix+ (Told you I'm obsessed!)

That is my everyday makeup routine for you! I hope this was detailed enough for you! Down below is a gallery of the products I use! If you have any questions feel free to contact me!
